As a conservative I believe we should be encouraging skit writers to live together in traditional teams. They don't an inteferring website telling them how to write.

How about two tables running concurrently? (The all time scoreboard and this season's table - a season being six months long.)
The champion of each season could receive a name change as a prize?
Also, we could introduce a Skit 'Cup' Comp (a one v one battle) to run alongside the league, with perhaps a random draw and a 48-hour time limit?

I managed to get to the top of the leader boards ages after they started. I guess if you've got it, you've got it... 
Seriously though, I don't think there's much point in wiping the points because people don't take it very seriously. If you were going to make it a more prominent part of the site then maybe, but at the minute it's just a little user-run thing that a lot of people weren't even aware of in this thread apparently.
