Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode's film review show on Five Live. It's on earlier today because of racing.

The White Hare - Seth Lakeman
John Wesley Harding - The Dylan I can never help thinking that this is THE album that gave Dylan such a lot of detractors - 'The terrible voice, the monotonous tones, the somambulent effect he has on you'. It is little coincidence that 'Dylan' the stoned sleepy rabbit in Magic Roundabout appeared on our screens shortly after this album's release. JWH made a comic caricature out of an artistic legend, and that's why I have little time for this semi-beautiful but almost lazy piece of work. It really did sound like he made this one in his sleep. I still like listenening to it though. 'Hey that's like, crazy, man' uttered Dylan before falling asleep again. Zebidee says it's time for bed.'
Norah Jones' newest - different, but still very listenable
Quote: Alfred J Kipper @ March 20 2010, 4:16 PM GMTJohn Wesley Harding -
One of my favourite Dylan albums.
Quote: JohnnyD @ March 18 2010, 8:58 AM GMTIt's as good as any of the posthumous albums - it's very, very good.
So I've heard, but how on earth does an album take forty years to be released???
I've heard his live versions of almost every one of the album's tracks so it's hardly anything new is it! Just a (heavily engineered?) studio version of existing Hendrix numbers. There is no mythical 'unfinished' Hendrix album, merely another compilation.
Steve Wright's Sunday Love Songs. And, in a minute, Wogan. I draw the line at Elaine Page at 1, though.
Tinie Tempah - Pass Out
Horrible lyrics, great beat.
This Mortal Coil - Song to the Siren
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me - Mel Carter
'She & Him-Volume One' Such a great album.
Randy Newman - Sail Away

Randy Newman!
Gotta listen to some Randy Newman now!
Olive - You're Not Alone
Dinner At Eight - Rufus Wainwright
