A lot of writers I've read about picked up from WR tend to be packed off to Doctors or Holby, so I'm guessing those guys 'n' gals sent in drama.
There's clearly a greater need for drama writers, with such shows as Doctors, Holby, Casualty and EastEnders that all need a constant supply of writers. Aside from Two Pints, there are no real comedy shows that need a similar supply of writers. So the odds are better if you concentrate on drama with the writersroom.
