Love 'em.Can I play the triangle in your band?
I dream of one day putting together an album using the input of as many friends as possible, so if I need a triangle I'll be in touch.

All literature douches find literature douches annoying! Key literatue douche trait.
Quote: Marc P @ March 22 2010, 12:04 AM GMTYes,
You get paid to write! Don't you sad smiley me - most of my friends would kill to get that opportunity Mr. P!
Very few degrees have any worth in themselves anyway.
It's just good for demonstrating that you can apply yourself to something long term, and good to enjoy yourself doing something you like for three years.

I feel that I should be awarded an honorary Ph.D. in Rhetoric after all the years of bitching and moaning about dissertations and professors and university politics that I've had to endure.

Aaron is watching a fascinating documentary about Area 51 and alien cover ups.

My father and a good friend both worked there. Ain't no aliens.

Well yes, that's if you're lucky.
I think 18 is much too young for most people to know what they want to specialise in yet. People should go to uni at 25.

That's what they've been told to tell you...

Now or then? Are you sure, or is that just all they were allowed to sayyyyyyyyy?
What about Green River?
Quote: Aaron @ March 22 2010, 12:46 AM GMTNow or then?
What about Green River?
They were there in the 50s, 80s and 90s. Everyone knows that lots of new aircraft and nuclear weapons were tested there, but the enormous secrecy isn't evidence of alien visitation.
The only Green River I know about is famous for producing fossils.
The Green River Complex in Utah, originally built for missile testing. Supposedly the "new Area 51" after tourists, UFOlogists, and general level of awareness/attention lead to certain operations leaving Nevada - although the documentary went and looked around parts of the Complex and found it to be abandoned.
Any alien testing/collaboration anywhere else then, you reckon? As a learned military man or US citizen?

Nope, none at all. It's the secret that's too big to keep.
But the US is a pretty darn big place... *glances around suspiciously*

And so is the universe. Maybe we'll contact another civilization someday, but it hasn't yet happened.
