Cool!

How about this then?

I'm looking forward to this new series. And series 3 of Ashes to Ashes. Oh, Alex Drake, you shall be mine!

From that review:
the episode has a little something for everyone, whether it's a very funny food-based sequence to keep the kids happy, or a roof-top moment that'll bring a tear to the eyes to die-hard Who fans.

I don't want Doctor Who awash with emotional shmaltz, whether it's "redemption through self-sacrifice" or any other form.

I want emotion, personally, it makes it a richer experience.

Yes, third and final series, looking forward to it! I hope Sam from Life On Mars pops up somehow.

And the entire Grange Hill cast!

And the entire Grange Hill cast!

Maybe Colin Baker, full of hope on being cast as the Doctor, unaware of troubling times ahead. :(

Reeeeaaaally great new trailer; even if the music seems to be drowning out some of what the Doctor is saying!

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/s7/doctor-who/news/a209692/the-second-who-series-five-trailer.html

He's saying something along the lines of: "There's one thing you never put in a trap if you're smart; if you have any plans of seeing tomorrow, there's one thing you never, ever, put in a trap . . . me . . "

Why is the music drowning out his words?! Odd. Still looks bloomin great though, and builds anticipation much more than the vortex 3D thingy.

Interesting seeing the Daleks in a World war 2 environment.
Weren't they based on the Nazis originally?
They did have a couple of them speaking German in series 3 as I recall, but those looked like salt of the earth British Dads Army Daleks .

That one did have a little Union Jack on it!

It looks like we'll be seeing these starting April 17th. I can't believe it!

So good.

Anybody see Smith on Wossy last night?

I refer the honourable gentlemen to an answer I gave some months ago.

I think he looks like he's going to be as irritating as f**k, but I appear to be in a minority.

Not when it is ersatz emotion, as was the case too often with Tennant. The way he switched from phony manic glee to over-the-top sentimentality was a bit like observing how Alan Alda in (later episodes of) MASH would invariably switch from wisecracking Groucho Marx mode to sombre Gregory Peck mode.

Ooh good call.
