Quick interview with Matt Smith and a snippet from the first episode!

That was interesting.
And I like the way they stuck a couple of things on the back of that fake Tardis so it looked a bit more realistic when the reporter went in.

Changing the subject, James Corden is apparently going to be in an episode of the new series.

I'm not sure CBBCTV DR Who sprang to mind... but then the best film ever last year was the New Star trek when they go back to young Kirk... so I don;t know. Moffatt is ok in mY book.

Moffatt is ok in my book.

Would that be Blood Work by Mark Pearson, available at all good booksellers (and WH Smith)?

Yeah, but the difference is the young Kirk was HOT!

The Doctor is not supposed to be hot! I mean yes, William Hartnell was a dish, but generally speaking.

Not easy to use that as a flimsy pretext for my discovery of the funniest ever scene in Doctor Who, but nevermind. The funniest scene I've ever seen in Doctor Who is from the Patrick Troughton era story The Tomb of the Cybermen. About half-way through the first episode, as the Doctor and Jamie cautiously enter the tomb, they inadvertently hold hands (each thinking they are holding Victoria's hand), then realize what they are doing and quickly shake off the grip (with a modicum of annoyance and repulsion). And then there's a magnificent bit of innuendo regarding "length".

Moffat's good. But he's no JJ Abrams.

Well, lets see how well this series turns out first, he's still not done a whole lot outside of his comedy work yet.

Moffatt is with the same dramtists' agency as I am, so he must have some potential... Errr Whistling nnocently
