How NOT to write sitcom.

Roll up, roll up.
There are three places left on this saturdays How NOT to write a sitcom course.
The venue is Central London
Details on the 'Make it' (COURSES) area of this website (you can contact me on the consultant page too)

January is THE time to get your sitcom forward to the script editors and producers (before they get distracted) so come along and get it right!

Happy New Year/Decade/whatever.

Hi Marc

Are you doing any others further North??

Yes I enjoyed the Manc one for both the tuiton and the various eccentricities of my fellow workshoppers. I would defintely go to another one, if I had money then, though probably only if the focus was a bit different as I have already done sat through the one which looked at the don'ts of sitcom writing.

Love to do another in Manchester. Could be a one or two day workshop thing. Spring though.
Any takers email me please via the consultancy page (MAKE IT)

snow...Snooow SNOW SNOOOWWW

Next date is Saturday February 20th. Three more places available.
See the COURSES page for more details.
Best

Marc

Also happy to add that AC & Black will be publishing How NOT to write Sitcom in 2011.

Feb 20th Very successful. Thanks for feedback.
Next date April 17th 2010.

Details will be on the site soon.

Marc

I can't access my PM's at the moment so you may have posted something there, but did you ever devise a course on Plotting? On one of your 'How NOT to' courses a while ago the subject of plotting a sitcom came up and a couple of us tried to talk you into doing a course on this element.

Sorry, too busy with the book for A&C Black now...
But maybe will do one in May. Suggest a Saturday and I will sling it up on the site....

Get you! :P

Was it the same Marc Blake who wrote an article in the Sunday Times Style magazine?

Yes it was.

Will you please carry on with your blog. I, for one, always looked forward to updates and really enjoyed reading it.

Welcome to the site, Mrs Blake. ;)
