Not really. Hearing something and downloading are two different things. Being lent means you return it after listening to and decide whether you want to have a an actual copy to keep - just like listening to it on the radio or at a friends house or at a party isn't piracy.
I totally understand why people want to just take stuff without paying for it, but you've got to look at the moral implications.
How do you feel Aaron if or when people 'steal' original content from this site? As a journo I've seen articles I've written appearing on websites that I haven't worked for. They've still credited me but have not paid me for my time and work. That has pissed me off.
