Four Lions - Chris Morris' Jihadi Comedy Page 3

Well, I'm probably extrapolating quite a lot. But I remember he talked about how many "discussions" he had with Morris about how scenes should be done.

Ah, more an implicit undertow than an outright bitch. Fair enough.

He says he couldn't think of a way to kill of Reynholm in the 2nd series and so he opened it up to Chris Morris himself to come up with ideas.

Chris Morris sent him loads of e-mails detailing all these elaborate ideas on how he should die which led to Linehan saying it was a mistake to open the floor to him.

On the DVD he says all this light heartedly and you definitely get the impression it was nothing major.

Anyone know if Morris has anything to do with this:

I haven't been able to view it, but it looks like an online series about similar subject matter.

Interesting, though - and sounds a good premise.

I notice David Baddiel's also working on "Infidel" the movie, due for 2010 release.

It's a ripe old subject!

Here is the official trailer for the film.

Looks fantastic

Looks very funny

Shaking faces to make them look blurry on cameras Laughing out loud

Very funny welcome back CM!

Looking forward to this. It got mixed reviews from what I read, but the trailer and other snippet has made me laugh harder than Nathan Barley. So, it could be worse.

A film like this will always get mixed reviews.

I haven't seen any bad reviews though. The ones I've seen range from it's okay to it's brilliant, I haven't read any damning verdicts yet.

There will be. If the Daily Mail doesn't call for his bollox on a stick, he hasn't done his job properly.

I've generally read that the quality dips in the second half when it takes on a thriller angle.

I'm attending a private screening of this soon and will let you know how it goes.

Looks interesting.
Is that the PhoneJacker guy in one of the roles?
