It's not spamming when it's righteous and has a real point. It's not self-promotion, nor is it profit-making (for me). It's an attempt at preserving democracy.

We waste far too much time on the Internet as it is. This might help cut it. I'm in favour of the bill, and think it doesn't go far enough. ;)

At this point, my standard reaction is to oppose anything the music/movie industry supports. They have such a track record of greed, stupidity and underhanded behavior that I feel confident that blanket opposition to their every move is justified.

And you'd be entirely correct in doing so. Words cannot express their ignorance.

Although, let's be clear, this is the record industry, not the music industry.

I had a fly fly in my eye yesterday. A couple of hours later, it's corpse worked its way out of my eye. To be honest, I've looked better.
