James edited

James didn't mind so am pasting here, I still think he has a great character here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwGzedxGM84

Does that have sound? Or is my sound transfer from a VM messed up again?

I just saw this via Facebook and it brightened up my morning, coinciding with the sunrise as it did.

Not silent via my traditional Aboriginal hand-carved mahogany speakers.

It should have magnificent sound! :)

Nice. This put a smile onto my otherwise stoney demeanour.

I like it! :D

I like this. For the first time I actually saw you're a pretty good actor James and how some of your more subtle lines work.

Pay attention to what Mark did and how much punchier it became.

Also the whole thing was a minute long.

Currently your longer samples are drowning out your talents.

Yeah editing is the key. Especially if you aren't working to a 'tight' script.

I watched this edit and didn't think I would laugh. But when refering to the BBC cup, the line "at least I get the use of it" genuinely cracked me up.

Agree with Def.

James, I think you should learn one big lesson from this:

1) Brevity is the soul of levity

Word!

Very neat. As I said (and I think many others did too), James IS the comedy character. Turns out he's not bad when he's playing himself and in very (very) small doses. Lovely editing. Nice twist that Jeremy Spicer has created James Cotter (his first character - I wonder how many others Jeremy's got up his sleeve?).

I'm glad some of my material has brightened up your morning. Although a lot of the thanks goes to Marc.

No. It's all Jeremy Spicer's work. :)

:D Thanks for the acting compliment.

A lot of what I've done before has been padding because like I explained before that's the trouble with ad-libbing on the day, you get a lot excess material you would other wise get rid of in the writing process.
