Yay! My book's been doing relatively well on its trial run on Kindle so the publisher is moving it to paperback and getting it out to bookshops in the US and UK. It once crept on to the first page of Amazon's best-selling techno-thrillers... for just a few hours.
:$ :)

Well done!!! What's the name?

Ditto.

You're like Patrick Swayze in Ghost, unable to express your emotions until you've passed into the hereafter. It's sad, really.

Chip's just checked his PM's and discovered that he's actually recieved 149 since joining in 2006. A lot of those are from young slightly dim men going "Phwoar! I really fancy you! Do you really look like you do in your avatar?"

I've got 2019, mainly from Chip saying "Phwoar! I really fancy you! Do you really look like you do in your avatar?"

Lovey

what's the book called?

Cheers all, the link is actually in my sig below. But I was kinda too embarrassed to physically tie it in with me in a more direct way.

Once the book is out properly, I'll be less ashamed... I hope.

It's called Big Bang and it's about a dysfunctional group of celebrities, cut off from their PR departments and gag writers, trying to survive in a nuclear bunker. Unable to contact the outside world, they're never sure if if the bomb dropped or whether the computer mainframe is playing mind games with them. When they finally begin to accept their lot and adjust to bunker life, their version of reality is fundamentally challenged.

There's an underlying metaphor and mild exploration of Schrodinger's Cat but you don't need to know about Schrodinger (or his cat) to get the story. It's also been converted into a sitcom and screenplay.

You leave James Cotter alone!

Sounds like an ace premise SlaggA - good luck with it all.

My sister was out walking on Sunday and came across this huge sculpture in the middle of nowhere and said it was pretty creepy. I found a couple of pictures of it online. It seems it's called the Nuba Embrace.

Have you read Harlan Ellison's For I Have No Mouth Yet I Must Scream?
