Just pulled up the remnants of last year's crops in preparation for this year's gardening adventure. I'm getting a late start, but last year I lost a lot of plants after a late freeze.
Looks like the strawberries and rosemary are still going strong. The onions and lettuce appear to have regenerated themselves from seed.
Debating whether I have the energy to have a truck dump a few hundred cubic feet of soil on my driveway. Not sure I could handle that many wheelbarrow loads of heavy dirt at my advanced age.

Not sure how that works around here. In California they crowd around the entrances/exits of the local Home Depot stores, but I haven't seen such behavior here in Texas. There are plenty of 'em out there, I just need to figure out where to find them.
Here's a photo of workers who surrounded our car as we left the Home Depot in Los Angeles 2 weeks ago.
Just got back from an evening at the local pub. Nice to know that after almost a year of not visiting the place that I'm still known as "the guy who tips CRAZY good."

I don't subscribe to the "I might be able to shag her if I tip well" school of thought, but there are a lot of really beautiful and well-endowed women who work there. I'm more concerned about getting my glass refilled in a timely manner.
