Sod the show, I'm just looking forward to the next title change!

I know, I know, we're incorrigible...

A fourth episode of the rebranded Odd Box audio series is available now on FB. Come smell.

Haven't had a chance to listen yet - but sure it's very good. :)

When I started a thread with links to my stuff it got moved into the Critique forum - the reasoning being that it wasn't a 'real' show with fans. Hmmm....

It's a bit of a grey area, isn't it? I'm not entirely sure what the criteria are for justifying placement on the 'pro' forums. Perhaps it's down to whether you're presenting a complete show or whether you have a 'name' attached; you'd have to ask Aaron or Mark. For our part, we're presenting Odd Box as a finished article, not a script to be critiqued, so this area suits us fine.

Yep I agree. I was trying to do the same.

I was told those links put up by that mental unfunny American didn't have to go in Critique because of some reason I can't even remember, whereas mine had to go into Critique - even though I wasn't looking for any feedback.

It's one of the reasons I won't put a link to the short films I wrote - it would probably end up in Critique, despite them being professional productions.

Maybe there should be a 'Comedy I Made' forum, like on Chortle?

Anyway back to Odd Box; is this the same material that you filmed? What are you doing with the pilot, once post-production is over?

No, not the same material at all, this is a different thing, just having a go at recording some audio sketches. It wasn't intended for others to listen to at first, but after we had a few we thought we might as well bung 'em on the net.

With the TV pilot we hope to interest someone in commissioning a full series for broadcast.

I can definitely see the sense with a sketch show to make your own pilot - good luck guys!

No, the only overlap is the title, which is why we've now rebranded the audio show Odd Box. The material and theme are completely different, we just got hung up/lazy about a title we liked and used it twice.

I did bring that up, Kevin, but was ignored point blank.
