One of the best Doctor Whos we never got!

If he had of, it would have meant that all three leads in Withnail would have been the Doctor at some point.

Yes it would. Not many consider Richard E. Grant's Doctor a official Doctor although I liked him.

It also means we'd have avoided the awfully bland Davison Doctor and the show might have taken a very different course...

We need a TARDIS to go back in time.

Better than Gambon?!

Better than Gambon?!

We never nearly got Gambon.

If you didn't like that period, I dare say it was more down to the writers and producer than poor Mr Davison.

No, I just thought he was bland. Still do. Though for sure, Saward was a terrible S-E.

Just watched it.

Deft script + superb acting = perfection.

Very, very well done.

Cheers man really appreciate it. :)

Just sent him the script. he had a better eye for one than that David Bussell! ;)

I'll be honest, I skimmed for nudity, skipped to end, saw it didn't end on a wise-cracking crocodile and got back to my flask of mescaline.

I liked the written version, nice to see it filmed as well. I must say when I read it originally I wasn't picturing someone like Richard Griffiths though. I was imagining someone a little more 'common', maybe. Did you write it with R.G. in mind?

Good work.

My only criticism is that you shouldn't have put this under 'Critique' Marc. :)

Cheers no, just wrote it. Then was watching 'Blame it on the Bellboy' and thought he'd be good. True story which worked out good.

Very good Marc.
