I have yet to get to grips with it. Thinking of going on a course but as I don;t have a camera yet seems a bit cart and horse.. or is it??? Might be best then I am more informed on my camera choices maybe. It's a minefield out there I tells ya!

What footage are you editing with now? You could get a cheapy DV just to get your filming mojo. But. I edit footage without filming it, it does help train you to make the best of what you have and be a little "creative" with the edits
Plus it makes you more aware when filming. Ideally you should storyboard it.

I can't draw I'm just playing around with stills footage at the moment and old stuff, but am thinking if filming the Train coming in to Sheringham this afternoon so might just buy a cheap one for fun, maybe a flip but I hear there is no image stabilisation so might as well just use my Canon G10

haha! you should see my storyboards stickmen are high art in comparison
Should be using a tripod Editing stills together is easy enough though.
Elie is desperate to learn more and more BUT work won't give her training!
