I'm like the Wizard of Oz. I prefer to be behind the curtain at all times.

You could have got a free head massage from a fine lady hairdresser out of it!

:( I have yet to get to grips with it. Thinking of going on a course but as I don;t have a camera yet seems a bit cart and horse.. or is it??? Might be best then I am more informed on my camera choices maybe. It's a minefield out there I tells ya!

What footage are you editing with now? You could get a cheapy DV just to get your filming mojo. But. I edit footage without filming it, it does help train you to make the best of what you have and be a little "creative" with the edits :P

Plus it makes you more aware when filming. Ideally you should storyboard it.

I can't draw :) I'm just playing around with stills footage at the moment and old stuff, but am thinking if filming the Train coming in to Sheringham this afternoon so might just buy a cheap one for fun, maybe a flip but I hear there is no image stabilisation so might as well just use my Canon G10

haha! you should see my storyboards stickmen are high art in comparison :P

Should be using a tripod :P Editing stills together is easy enough though.

Elie is desperate to learn more and more BUT work won't give her training!
