Yeah. If you go legit.....nudge nudge, wink wink. What camera you getting? What's your budget? I don't mind helping you film some stuff. If it's in London. Or Suffolk.

I was looking at the JVC on Apple Uk's page but it is about 3 and a half K and I am not sure I will be allowed to lol.
As I understand it the scaled down Express should be good enough for me?? If I could understand it that is
Never used. Sure it's fine. But doubt its colour correction prowess.
Re cameras. You should defo check out Canon 7d (and Canon 5D). They're stills camera but both shoot HD 1080p video. Loads of promos/ music videos are being shot with them at the moment. The production company I work with have just bought a 7D and the footage looks fantastic. We shoot all our high end stuff on it. Slight issues with synch sound but no great shakes. I shoot a lot on a Sony EX1 which is a really nice camera. Mainly promo stuff though. My friend is about to buy a Panasonic he's been harping on about. I'll check with him. What do you intend to shoot? Sketches? Short Films ?

Probably some short films Simon, some sketches maybe, little docos, just f**king about really, which I think is the technical term. But defo keep me posted re the Panaosnic and etc.
Liked the mono Marc. Did you have a particular 'voice' in your head when you wrote it? I have just changed work locations - now traveling 10 miles to work, not 1 mile. As a result I have been listening to the entire Hancock series I have had on my ipod for yonks and not got around listening to. As a result I can't help, at the minute, reading every male mono I read with old Tony's voice in my head. Strange thing the mind eh?
Not really, not when writing it I just had the character in mind. When it was written I pondered on who would be good for it.
I liked it but part of me thinks Alan Bennett has screwed up this sort of piece for everybody else because there's a hint of Talking Heads about it. Inevitably.

Alan's okay at it.

I know. That's the problem.
Yeah, Not for me.
Marc- re camera. He's getting a Panasonic HMC 150. No idea about it. You'll have to do some research !
Really enjoyed it. Read very well. My favourite bit by far was the talk about Rommel.
"When Eric Rommel said five fifteen he bloody well meant five fifteen. No point turning up five twenty in your armoured car."
I would certainly like to see the filmed version.

Cheers James.
I was going to try and clean up the audio on it as it's not original and is a copy of a copy transferred and reformatted etc, but that's going to take a little while so I will put it up now and replace it when I have 'cleaned' it up and colour balanced it if I can.

When you do let me know. I'm a big fan of monologues and the script reads so well I'll be interested to see how it comes across. Especially the pay-off.
Yeah monologues are fun and easier to film and edit lol. Here's another one, you might have already seen it, meanwhile, as I am about half an hour from getting this one uploaded. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTWLFPYuRyo
