An expert back-hander... my hat is off to you. Again. :D

Mine would be too Steve, except you know how hideous I look without my hat.

Is James Cotter not a character within himself?

So which is this? Seems a whole heap of repetition and circular argument to me. But if you have something original to add...

Who gives a shit. James posts stuff - people talk about it. The notion that the thread should be closed because someone decides that enough has been said about it is censorship. Simple as. I like the coffee mug stuff but would heavily edit it. Life's hard enough. Well it's cold anyway.

Now can anyone tell me how to clean up sound in imovie 09 or Final Cut Express?

May I be so bold as to ask who gave you this advice? Was it Jan Jung?

God help you if you're listening to Jan Junk!

JC - like I said, I think you need to work and work until you find a character that you can OWN. Everything you have done up to this point has been highly derivative.

I think it was suggested earlier, but why not work on a character who is a heightened version of yourself. I imagine that might be quite interesting.

Nah. That's censorship. James Cotter could be the new Orson. The particular always applies to the universal remember.

Laughing out loud I'm not closing it yet, but I hope everyone understands why I might get round to doing it, I don't want to have to explain, there aren't enough hours in the day.

We like to only lock threads and delete posts when absolutely necessary. So I'm sure no one is really going to lock this one. Unless something drastic happens!

Err if I do I'll let you know boss :(

Jeremy Spicer is a heightened version of myself.

Is James Cotter not a character within himself?

Unimpressed No.

James, it's unlike you to keep bumping your own thread - you must have something significant to contribute to all the detailed comments and advice to which you have yet to respond...

Btw, how's that psoriasis coming on?

I was simply responding to the critique. A good point was put forward and I responded to it.

What did you think of my monologue James?

Quote: James Cotter @ March 10 2010, 6:24 PM GMT

Unimpressed No.

Oh, but you are.

If he was.
Then we'd all be queueing up to write stuff for the character.
I've got a sketch ready, just waiting for the call.

*Whispers* I think he's ignoring me though.

For the record, I do actually like James Cotter.
I just think he should concentrate on the work rather than the trimmings.
And be a little more self critical.

Here Here Sunshine!

There is genius in that there work, but if you can't take critism then you are just going to come over as the "big I am"

What monologue?
