Don't you get sick of all these guilt fests?
Comic Relief, Genes for Jeans etc.
The Government should be picking these tabs up. I know we in effect pay for what the Government chooses to spend our money on but why do they keep on with them?

I wouldn't say I'm sick of them as such, but I agree that the Government should be funding this kind of thing.
Alas, they throw all of our taxes away elsewhere.
It's one evening. If you don't like it then don't watch it...then again, next year's "Give Us Your Money Or The Children Get It" does seem to be a little extreme.

rofl
I don't have a problem with giving cash for starving kids, but do they have to put lenny henry on our screens. A man has his limits.
That's what I'm getting at really.
Everyone has to get involved to say "Look what I'm doing for ch-ch-charidy!"
Maybe they should collect through the year and if they raise enough then they don't show Comic Relief.
I've got no problem with charities. I understand they have a difficult job in raising money without coming across as graspers. Some of the best moments in my life have been when a charity appeal has broke through SlagA's hardened exterior and made me weep. Sounds odd, I know. I'm too tired to explain it better.
To use a phraze of my mum's:
'your ......* just not in a traditional sense.
*fill in your insecurity here, handsome, funny, clever etc.
You're ... traditional, just not in a traditional sense?
SlagB just told me the missing phrase I have to insert in the saying to make it true to me is 'a gimp in a gasmask'.

lol someone should do a program on that, The history of gimps: the gasmask years.
Ooh, they should!
BBC4 would snap it up.
Charity? Whats that all about?
Filling a somebody elses bag with "Swag" written on it, full of your money.

Thats like me drunk but the bag i'm usually filling in has "slag" written on her. Holy shit even though i'm drunk i know this is going to haunt me Spooky
They always trick me into watching bits of it though.
Especially when they get David Tennant to do a special Dr Who bit. Or Simon Pegg. Or Ricky Gervais.
Those crafty bastards.

....Am I thinking of Comic Relief?
Or are they all interchangable now.
