How Do I Slack Off Now?!

My bandwidth at work is being throttled so I can't access fun sites. (BCG still works fine though :$)

But I can't listen to the radio or anything anymore! Anyone got any ideas of none internet activities I can do that will keep my sanity through the long hours of work?

Before anyone says anything there isn't any eye candy :(

Bring in an external hard drive loaded up with films/TV shows and play them on your computer. Small VLC window in the corner of the screen, no one will ever know.

Find yourself a good proxy site :)

Hmmmm... I will look into this.

I have dual screens as well which helps.

Proxys bring viruses sometimes and my IT departments smarter than that they'll be able to find out somehow, don't want to rape my companies network.

Don't ask Aaron or zooo, they've never known a world without Internets. I'm assuming that you have no friends at work (don't know why) and that you need solo projects to keep yourself amused.

There is all the pre-War stuff you could do - books, magazines, newspapers plus a crafty shandy in the loo - but they all lose their appeal after a while. If you can access the BCG, you might be able to access other forums.

So find some bizarrely obscure hobby you enjoy - garden gnome painting or dressing your cats up like people - and start spamming those forums with your thoughts.

I didn't have internet at home till I was 18!

I done read books and went outside and all sorts.

Yes wanking in the loo gets not only boring but gets rather depressing (they can hear me crying afterwards you see).

I clearly don't possess any characteristics of being a loner Rolling eyes

erm, you mean...

Work in an office with other people? Stare at them blankly while you slowly unzip and zip-up your flies. For hours.

OR, do something massively complex yet pointless. Like this that one of my brother's friends did at work:

Taking a piece of wood and making it smaller. Or, as it will soon be known, bigfellaring! :) Also, where's your avatar, BF?
