I see today that the once leader of the Labour Party, Michael Foot, has died at the age of 96. I really thought he died years ago, so I was more shocked to learn he was still alive before he died ... if you see what I mean.
Has this happened to anyone else; heard that some had just died when they thought they had died years ago?

Since my original post I have done this 3 more times. I think it's an unfortunate gift. But I feel the worst for Soupy.

I had a shock when they announced that Winston Churchill had died. I though someone was having a joke before I realised they meant his grandson

SO I think there's probably room for this thread.
A couple of old dears just came to my door claiming Jesus Christ is still around. He must be ancient by now.
