Nah, if they've lied and wasted your time, you've every right to put out.

Talking of 'putting out', it's amusing that some of these women expound the idea that all the men they meet only want one thing. In your dreams, luv.

...and of course, becoming slightly bitter like this is not a good way approach the next date. My trust has been abused!

Anyway, the question was : what's the best *comedy* way to escape quickly?

I don't understand the whole thing to be honest. Can people really not bear to be on their own that much they'll set them selves with dates with strangers.

Maybe it's just me not getting it again.

That's the entire motivation for dating.

Laughing out loud

I really enjoyed online dating. When I'm feeling up to it, I might try it again.

I see.

Can't you just pay someone for that? sure it might end in a rash but atleast you know what your getting.

By that logic, I should have compassion for a mugger, because at least he's not a murderer.

Yes, you've got me there with your clever logic! :S

But your problem is not with the datee, but with the dating site. It's a site's responsibility to make sure the people represent themselves accurately, otherwise the site looks amatuerish.

Scratchyr went on a dating site two weeks ago. Met a really nice lady. All is going well. Think if you take a little time to get to know each other then there is less chance of a nasty surprise.

Yey! Nice one! :)

Aw thanks. She is quite far away though, but as it's going so well there's plenty of talk about plane tickets :) Until then I am on Skype a lot ;)

Oh wow. See I won't date anyone that's not within dating distance. In London, I live in the South West, so I go for people around there. Anything North or East is out of the question. I appreciate effort is to be made, but an hour to go and see someone for a date is ridiculous.

She isn't doing it to get a visa, is she? Of course not. Where is she from?

It's pretty limited in Southend to be honest, and I do have a bit of a thing for foreign ladies, so I am very happy.

:) know what you mean, I did think of this and have been asking many many questions and have now come to the conclusion that this isn't the case. Of course I could be wrong but, to me, I could meet someone down the pub etc, and still get played anyway. It's still a little in the back of my mind, but it doesn't seem that way to me.

Good. She hasn't asked you to pay for her airline ticket then?
