Oh yeah, not saying recycling is a bad thing or anything it's just the way in which she went about it, I only bought a few things as well, but too much to carry in my free hands (or I would have carried it).

F**k taking my own bags in, I pay for a service and I've got to check my own damn stuff out now with the cylon-esque self service machine, the least they can do is provide bags.

Plus the real reason they don't give bags out is because they cost money. If they were really that concerned they'd invest in degradable bags.

This reminds me of one of my pet hates - self service checkouts in supermarkets. The money grabbing tossers. Employ more staff!

Self service tills in supermarkets. It's the thin end of the wedge. Plus, I always have to get help when I use one.

You don't really need the help though do you? ;)

I like the human contact. Have I mentioned the slutty checkout girl in the Co-op in Wivenhoe I used to flirt with? Who are the up and coming Chips going to flirt with? Mm?

The dumpy co op girl near me flirts a lot, but she's bad at it... Ah we're made for each other.

Hows she bad at flirting?

More body language than anything she'll make a weird statement "OMG I love sandwiches too" or whatever I was buying and then smile and me and flick her hair.

Just weird...

Fortunatly I don't live in that area anymore so I don't have to make small talk like "At least I can get a bag without any hassle from here"...

LOL! I used to know a barmaid like that, til I moved locals. To much chitty chat, I just wanted to sit there and drink. Not solve the worlds problems or discuss her boyfriend issues.

This (Bad if you're a music and US telly fan):

No! They must keep 6Music. I can't listen to XFM for longer than an hour now, due to the repeats and general pop-iness of the playlists now. And Absolute's okay, but they still have adverts and play Bon Jovi, but 6Music has some quirky little shows.

Love Stuart Maconies Freak Zone on a Sunday. Best music show since Peel. XFM for me hasn't really been much cop since before Capital bought it.

NME Radio is pretty good, but I can't imagine them having a show like Freak Zone.

Be really shortsighted to chop 6 Music.

When your in work and say

"Hi how are you"

And they take a deep sigh and say

"I'm ok"

In the saddest most pathetic voice...
