Standard script (BAFTA)

I want to enter my script for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum but it says only standard script formats are accepted.

I currently have a script formatted like this:

JIM: Good morrow to you.

MICHAEL: Same to you good sir.

Will I need to re-format it to enter?

You might need to make it a bit longer than that. Whistling nnocently

As far as I know that isn't standard script format; I'm using a programme called Celtx (which is free and comes recommended from lots of people on here): http://celtx.com/
That should do the job.

Yes.

They are some general industry standards in formatting, like sluglines, etc and some bits are just a matter of choice.

Download free formatting software likeCeltx, as Marooned suggested, or scriptsmart from BBC WritersRoom and then you don;t have to worry.

Books like 'How Not To Write A Screenplay' have good info on formatting and layout, as well as style and content.

Thanks for the advice.

I better get to work on re-formatting it since the deadline is next Friday! :P
