I also like (old) churches. Not quite so hot on the services, mind. But I love gothic architecture.
They do have a good atmosphere - especially if you're feeling stressed. Maybe it's all the natural materials, or the candles. I love all the pomp and ritual of communion too.

I think I've figured out that I quite like nice churches, I just don't like the religious people inside them. 
They are a bit scary.
But I like a nice peaceful walk around a graveyard and stuff.
