Bellamy's People Page 8

I've not read everything in this thread cos really can't be bothered tbh, so might be repeating what people have already said.

Enjoying it but it lacks focus. Down The Line is better as there's a sort of 'Who's next?' aspect to it and more of an element of surprise. And the 'What is point?' bloke is missing (though I heard him briefly at start of episode 2) and he is the best character! That obviously wouldn't work on TV though. Or would it?

Afinkawin was right about the ghostly episode of Down The Line and episode like that (more themed) work better as it almost rolls into sitcom territory, which works well. (That episode is brill, btw, if people haven't heard it) and there was a genuine cliff-hanger that didn't get resolved until the following series.

I'll keep watching this as it's relatively entertaining. Hopefully, some 'ongoing' threads will go across episodes and stuff may build from that. The Nazi/Socialist sisters are great though; I hope they do that justice over the series.

Aside from the two crazy sisters, Laura Solon hasn't made much of an impact so far. She seems overshadowed by the old guard.

Is Laura Solon in it? I thought the two sisters were Lucy Montgomery and Rosie Caveliero?

I think chip may have made an utter, utter fool of himself.
I hope he's ashamed.

Though of course he'll say that he was right; Laura Solon isn't making an impression on the show.

It actually got resolved in a Tony Blair special which I managed to misst have since heard) - so when the third series started, I was a little confused to find absolutely no mention of it!

Very much improved episode this week. I actually laughed a couple of times. Better tone all-round to it, I felt. No sisters though.

Yes, I miss them! Where are they.

I wonder if 'Fat Emma' (if that was her name} got paid, as she didn't say anything.

FANTASTIC new episode!

I liked Peter Salad a lot.

I did make a mistake! I don't know why I thought Laura Solon was in it. Although curiously I did get a PM purporting to be from Rhys Thomas calling me a moron for thinking she was in it. He's nailed me! :$ Cool

As for the show, after last week's cracker I was disappointed. The fight between the traffic warden and the racist was funny, and Simon Day's characters are great (he is in it, right, I'm not thinking of someone else?), but it still seems a bit rudderless.

and Darren Day's characters are great

All laugh at Chip. He got it wrong again.

:P

Who is it then? Rhys Thomas has unnerved me with his wounding words! I'm falling to pieces!

Ah, you got me with your trickery! I'm in such a state after my vicious unprovoked Rhys Thomas mauling that I can't concentrate!

If it wasn't him it was most likely someone signing up with a 2nd user account, which is grounds for banning.

What did the PM say?
