I loved the 'Nah', it was anti-climatically funny and could spark off a load of similar sketches.
For an alternate ending, you could have had Wolf from Gladiators physically eating the boy.

Ooh! Topical!
EDIT: Oh, wait a sec, is Gladiators back on TV now?

I liked it Kevin, something and nothing. It also made me think of two alternate endings one where his family are all stood around a headstone sobbing saying 'we should've listened to him' with a relevantly silly epitaph on his headstone. And the other exactly the same as RC's except a real wolf stood over him as he quivers on the floor, with OTT music.
What about:
ENTER DAD WITH RIPPED AND BLOODIED TROUSER LEG.
DAD RESUMES EATING HIS CORNFLAKES.
HE TAKES A SIP OF COFFEE.
MUM:
So… was there a wolf?
DAD:
Nah, it was that bloody hyena back again.
END
I really liked it. You expect something but nothing happens and that was funny in itself
As another alternative...
ENTER DAD WITH RIPPED AND BLOODIED TROUSER LEG.
DAD RESUMES EATING HIS CORNFLAKES.
HE TAKES A SIP OF COFFEE.
MUM:
So… was there a wolf?
DAD:
No I couldn't see anything.
END
It made me laugh. (The orginal sketch.)
I thought it was funny Kevin but like the urge to put your tongue on a 9 volt battery, I don't know why.
