Quote: The Producer @ February 9 2010, 5:10 PM GMTI wouldn't get too annoyed. I sent in a From the Archive 1930s version of Newsbullet at the end of last series and there was no interest whatsoever!
Ah well, great minds get equally ignored.

Quote: R.J. @ February 10 2010, 9:46 AM GMTAnyone going to the show tonight?
I'm going, and at least a few others from here.
I'm going - looking forward to it - apart from the biting disappointment of not getting anything in of course.
As always good luck all (especially Blenkinsop - hang in there B - just look at Mikey J - He made it eventually!)
I heard my name mentioned!
Yep. Just proves you have to perservere.
Let's face it, if I can get something in, anyone can.
To any of the people who are going to watch the show tonight: what sketches came up and was it any good?

Thanks Jane, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Me and Newsjack just don't mix
Nice to speak to so many BCGers last night. Badge, The Producer, Steve Sunshine (and missus). Jane P - I only managed to see you leaving!
So, there's at least six people with no excuse for keeping us in suspense.
If I recall correctly;
There was a Gordon Brown Labour/Lib Dem/Tory doing the dishes sketch
Product placement midsomer murders
Miles going into the future
Teacher/War correspondent
A Machine for talking to Coma patients
BBC consultants overspending
David Attenborough type global warming sketch.
EU President sketch
A 'From the Archives' Football scandal sketch
David Cameron talking to Miles about something (Can't remember what)
And an interesting variation on NewsBullet.
I'll try to think of some more in a mo.
Quote: Gerry McDonnell @ February 11 2010, 11:38 AM GMTWas there a short, not very funny, Peter Andre interview?
Not that I recall Gerry.

Sorry Dan
Won't happen again.

Shit. Cheers Steve.

But I don't come on here during the day.

Hmm, looks like another week of being accidentally overlooked again...unless someone can recall a Petre Andre meeting Alex Reid sketch?
The others apart from the ones Steve mentioned were (think this is a full list):
Queen appearing in Parliament and putting her weight around, due to repeal of parliamentary privilege
SNP party funding sketch (leader & Ms Sturgeon were the 2 characters)
"How do you arrest a police officer?"
Slim-force defence review ad
2010 review via objects e.g. snowball, campbell tear
BBC talent spending
Miles filling in a Uni application form
Cameron takes the "good PR by crying on air" trend to a new level
Wildlife show...on stereotypical public reactions to the cold weather/snow
Parliamentary debate format
Post-show sketch as if a R7 announcer was commenting on a repeat of this episode in a year's time
Alas no appearance of my lengthy sketch on Prince Charles travelling through time, stopping philosophical breakthroughs and other inventions he hates using the power of Duchy Originals produce...but that was perhaps to be expected.
Oh well, none again for me this week, but I'm gonna look and the bright side and say, there's always next week!
Oh wait...
