Anyone any idea if this runs every year?
I was under the impression that it did but I haven't seen anything about it come up yet and they normally run comedy discussions around this time with the deadline around about March.
Cheers

I was thinking the same about the College of Comedy.
Last year, I believe the Northern Laughs deadline was some time in January, so if there is a 2010 version, it's later than last year.
Deadline was March last year for Northern Laughs and April last year for Comedy College.
I hope they're still doing it. I might email and find out...

You're absolutely right. Not sure how I made that mistake.
The constantly changing fashionable take on the College of Comedy clearly demonstrates the depth of the subject. Given that its influence pervades our society, College of Comedy is not given the credit it deserves for inspiring many of the world's famous comedy writers. It is an unfortunate consequence of our civilisation's history that the College of Comedy is rarely given rational consideration by those humour devoid individuals living in the past, who just don't like that sort of thing. When one is faced with comedy today, a central theme emerges - College of Comedy is either adored or despised, it leaves no one undecided. Just as a dog will return to its bone, society will return to College of Comedy, again and again.

I see...presumed I had missed a joke...
Did anyone email to see if this is running again?
Didn't in the end, I'm afraid. I think we'd probably have heard about it by now if it was on, though. Unless they're putting it on later in the year for some reason.
