Hi,
I am a new stand up comedian and comedy writer.
I would like to become a writer for some TV shows like "8 out of 10 Cats", "Mock the Week", "Have I Got News For You", "Chatty Man", "Graham Norton Show" etc.
Could someone please advise where should I send my jokes to and how it should look like.
If someone would be so nice and share their experience I promise I will make a joke about that.

there are a couple of writers on here who write for 8 Out 10 Cats etc so maybe they'll throw you a bone. Although they might not, because you might be brilliant and steal their job!
Getting work on panel shows etc usually comes through your agent or if you have a track record in similar areas. But as a cold call you could try contacting the companies that make these programmes directly - for instance 8 Out Of 10 Cats is made by Zeppotron.

Have you considered attending recordings of the shows you are interested in submitting material to? Then you could just throw your jokes at the stage in the form of paper aeroplanes.
Make sure you remember to put your contact details on them.
