The Taliban used to do live beheadings during half time - now that's entertainment.

Having said that, which new rock group would you put on for the half time show? N-Dubz? I think not.

Sick

Unless you're suggesting we try the beheadings?

I think that would be a shiite idea.

Up pops Morrace with his usual crap. Brilliant.

Up pops Townshend!

"Talkin' 'bout Degeneration!"

GARY GLITTER: Now Pete's in my gang, my gang, my gang!

I would be quite happy to watch someone beheading N-Dubz as half time entertainment.

Morrace,

Pete Townshend was never convicted of anything. The fact that he was put on the sex offenders register at all is a matter of judicial debate.

He did infom the Internet Watch Foundation of his intention of researching child pornography and he was told it was probably not wise. But he used his own credit card and tried to do it in an open way.

It was a foolish idea but not one done in a backroom with the intention of spreading child porn around the world. ISP Abuse managers see child porn on a daily basis but they are not regarded as sex offenders nor put on a register.

rock is a young man's game.

It's the music that matters, not the age of the musicians.

As much as I like their music, The Who are a bunch of crumbly old codgers who haven't written a decent tune for at least the last couple of decades.

Their album of two years back is pretty damn fine, actually Mr Carpark!

Please, don't try and let the facts get in the way of Morrace's usual tiresome crap.

Ooh, look! - Chris Langham did some research too!

"Specifically, we need to look seriously at Langham's defence that he pleaded "not guilty" to downloading child pornography because he "did not want to be called a paedophile", and that he looked at these images because he was conducting research for a new TV series"

Yup lying after the fact is easy, informing people you were doing it in advance a different matter. One is provable the other is not but both are misdemeanours in the eyes of the law, apparently.

Paraphrasing Matthew, but never let the facts get in the way of a good witch hunt Morrace.

I suspect if Sarah Palin were to become US President beheadings will become part of the half-time entertainment during the Superbowl. If I was Barack Obama I'd watch out.

Laughing out loud

On the subject of THE WHO, you can't fault them.

The two guys are born to play, who cares if the songs were written thirty years ago - they're classics and need to be played live!

Clapton and Plant have grown? Yeah, right.

We are unanimous on that!

Also, if memory serves, he was only on the register for 5 years. They didn't include that on the flyer.

Also Denis was a big heartthrob singer in Spain-

"Louise" / "Something Called Love"
- Dennis Waterman
While on his holidays in Spain, Minder fan Andrew Brooks found this Dennis single.

It's hard to imagine our Dennis being a pop sensation in Spain particularly
looking as cool as he doesn't here!
