Call this comedy???
Meh.
Although it is very funny, I'm rather worried by the subject matter.
There has been an encroaching atmosphere of religious intolerance, as far as the Christian faith is concerned, for a number of years now. God, our God, is deemed "fair game" and ripe for parody, and while the God portrayed in your skit seems a nice enough, personable sort of chap, and certainly one who I for one would feel comfortable having a yarn and couple of "jars" with, He lacks that essential Old Testament wrathfulness that really epitomises Him and which has had non-believers quaking in their rudimentary footwear since the dawn of Christendom itself.
And another thing - while I happily make no claim to be a theologian, I fancy myself a bit of a "gentleman amateur" where the bible is concerned; I'm fairly positive that nowhere in my reading of the scriptures is there any reference to God having a thick Mancunian accent.
Still, these are minor quibbles and worth nary a moment's serious consideration in the grand scheme of things. Overall a very funny, if borderline blasphemous, debut.
But where were the tits?
Right Crusty, only need to post it once.
Bye bye 'both' of you.
