I've had problems watching videos on YouTube. When I select a video, all I get is this notice- Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.
I've downloaded the latest edition of Flash and downloaded Java Script, but still the same message comes up. Anyone any suggestions. I would be most grateful.
You must have a script blocker on your browser. I have 'NoScript' on Firefox, which can be a pain sometimes. I have a little 'S' icon in the bottom right hand corner of my browser window. Scripts are blocked when there is a red slash through it.
Also, whenever my browser is forbidding a script a yellow pop-up banner comes up on the bottom of the screes that gives me options. I can choose to allow or forbid scripts on the page. If you go to YouTube (or any other site that has script) and get that message, click on the box where the video would have been and most likely some kind of menu will drop down asking you if you want to block scripts.
