As it happens, no.

How many enteries will they have had for this thing then?

Seven?

From the sounds of it half of them won't have followed the rules so you can wipe them off straight away. :)

Will still be squillions though.

Don't know if this link has already been posted... http://thewriterstale.com/scr.html

I wonder how many people have made their Doctor act and speak like Tennant. They'll be out for a start.

And did anyone make the mistake of a sonic screwdriver capable of doing tonnes of stuff?
In PD's era, it just opened doors.

In PD's era, the sonic screwdriver was destroyed fairly early on (at the behest of JNT) by the Tereleptil in The Visitation, before the Doctor ended up solo with Nyssa. Pertwee and Baker had used the sonic screwdriver not just to open stuff, but also to detonate mines.

Anyone use the celery? :)

No, but I had him say 'I'm wearing a yellow coat', that way people would definitely know which one it was. That might not be true.

So did people make up their own alien races and what not?

The rules stated that we couldn't use an existing character or alien race...from Doctor Who.

So I had Peter Davidson getting his arse kicked by ALF, a Cylon-Vulcan from the planet Darth Tharg.

"Neil Gaiman was the recipient of a gong for Best Comic at the SFX Awards held at the SFX Weekender this weekend - and revealed that the rumours about him scripting an episode of Doctor Who were in fact TRUE!

His forwarded acceptance speech (Gaiman was unable to attend) for his award for Whatever Happened To The Caped Crusader included the following:

"…while I know it's cruel to make you wait for things, in about 14 months from now, which is to say, NOT in the upcoming season but early in the one after that, it's quite possible that I might have written an episode. And if I had, it would originally have been called "The House of Nothing". But it definitely isn't called that any more.

"Countdown. You've got about 14 months."

Now this is very interesting and exciting news! And, also, overdue. You'd think more 'name' fantasy/sci-fi writers would have been chasing after a pop at writing Who.

Neil Gaiman is a sacred icon of cool I met him and my hair turned white from his funk rays.

I had a look at the Big Finish website and they stated there were 1200 entries. So my pitifully low confidence on this one has just reached zero. :(

Damn.

That's way less than I expected!
