Best sitcom moment of the 1990s? Page 3

Agreed, Richie and Eddie in bottom bashing the gasman. :)

Or...
the whole episode where Richie and Eddie are stuck on that big wheel. :)

Or...
Eddie catching Richie about to masturbate to Miss World.

Or...
the fitness instructor/yoga woman suddenly dying in One Foot In The Grave.
Then Victor's reply after Magaret announces that she's dead. "But... she's a bloody fitness instructor."

Not a big fan of 'Partridge', but I freely admit that I didn't get it.

Does 'Spaced' count? It kind of spanned the 90s into the 2000s, and I don't think I would call it a 'sitcom'.

Of course Spaced is a flipping sitcom!

I refer to it as a 'sitserial'

No wait. I refer to it as a 'serialcom'.

Sorry, I have had a few beers this evening.

Ha!
Or crazy-juice, as I like to call it. :)

Would I lose any cred that I have built up (in 30 posts) if I say that I really liked 'Keeping up Appearances'?

I have been trying to persuade my wife to name our first-born Onslow (is that how you spell it?), I loved his hats!

Nah, it's a fun sitcom.
But I reeeally wouldn't want to encourage my child to turn into Onslow. Sick

OK, I have come up with the best sitcom moment of the 90s is the episode of The Thin Blue Line entitled Come On You Blues.

When the entire cast is in the back of the van at the beginning of the episode. That is the finest example of a sitcom that I have ever seen! It is perfect.

I'd call Spaced "absolutely f**king dire", but heyho.

Not one of my favourite episodes. I do seem to recall the van scene being quite good, but I'm too lazy (and it's too late) to sit through YouTube and check!

What is one of your favourite episodes?

And why does this board edit my posts when I spell "favourite" without a 'U'?

ALAN PARTRIDGE

NATHAN BARLEY

LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN

Laughing out loud

The Batman and Robin scene from Only Fools.

Often seen as just a clip, you need to watch the episode (or at least the five minutes before the run) to fully appreciate and understand it.

Nothing beats it.

I've always found that to be clever, but an anti-climax. Nowhere near as spectacular as some would have us believe.
