Comedians people on the BCG hate Page 11

Dave Gorman

His own shows are very good. At least to me. All that Googlewhack and I'm Dave Gorman stuff I liked a lot.

My mum hates Dave Gorman. He talks too fast, apparently.

I'd like to say that I like this thread. It's a means to vent your frustrations at comedians, without having to say it to their faces. And I think that's a good thing. I'd prefer to have a bit of a rant here, rather than on the 'actual' thread of the person being refered to.

That way they can show their Mum's the nice stuff people are saying about them on 'their' threads, sparing them seeing the 'constructive' stuff on here.

Just have some of those big, shaven headed blokes in black t shirts off The Jeremy Kyle Show standing by tho'!

I wouldn't want to hurt him . .

I'm quite surprised it's 'Morris', rhymes with 'Norris'.

Ha, I was right all along! Suck it, Angie and her husband!

For the last time David. We are NOT interested in a threesome!

Hey Dave's a threespome when's he on his own.

'Dr Jacob Bronowski'- 'Justin Lee Collins'

I do think Rob Deering talks like Justin from Something Special on CBeebies.

I saw Deering compere a mixed acts night at Edinburgh and he was booed, shouted at, people swearing at him (not me) he completely lost control of the audience. So to save himself he decided to throw a frisbee in to the crowd for them to play with and from that point no one paid any attention to him. He must have a thick skin because he didn't seem to care, probably gets it quite alot what with not being funny I suppose.

I've seen him compere a gig with an admittedly very annoying section of the audience. He actually snapped and threw his drink over them, one of them tried to throw a drink back and it went over an innocent by-stander and nearly kicked off into a big brawl.

He also did a Hendrix impression that made me rather cross.

Though my brother shook his hand after a gig. My brother had a wet hand as he'd just been to the loo. :)

Blimey, he's not very good at crowd control. I wonder how comedians like him make ends meet, would he have a 'normal' daytime job, or could he support a family from what he does?

I guess with the Radio2 show and all, he earns pretty well from the comedy.

Oh right, I didn't know he had a radio show. He used to do programmes like 100 things to do before you die, they were shit too.

:)

Yeah, he gets around as a talking head quite a lot, giving Paul Ross a run for his money. He used to present a Radio2 Saturday afternoon show called something like Out To Lunch.
