The Persuasionists Page 15

I can't get my head around the set and the studio setting. It just seems weird in a modern sitcom of this style, to me.

There were a few familiar jokes that I remember from other sitcoms last night.

Also, I'm sure I've seen the whole 'mediocre sitcom' formula used in other recent productions.

I was too tired to watch two Mad Mens back to back last night, and Sons of Anarchy is going to be a DVD show, so I watched this. It was nothing special but it was diverting enough, and that blonde girl is quite sexy in a gawky kind of way.

You seen Adam Buxtons response to the reviews of The Persuasionists?

I laughed lots at the latest episode. Mainly Category 2 chuckles, but I had a full-on Category 4 guffaw at the "You Charity Twat" slideshow.

I was feeling rather tired and emotional at the time.

There seems to be a lot of gawky girls around who have amazing bodies.

excellent sport.

After a somewhat good episode last week back to disappointment for me. A number of old jokes re-hashed. Particularly obvious was the tattooing someones face on your face.
It's a shame because I thought last week it had signs of maybe being a runner. Still some like it and I think that's aloud :)

Meanwhile if you think the criticism on the BCG can be vicious (which it can) check the comments out here:

(somebody may already have posted this link earlier in the thread?)

Nice!
I like "Is this really why I am forced to buy a TV licence?" in the first response, although I doubt it was actually intended to be self-mocking.

You are easily pleased! *Taps foot, strokes chin and rubs Aaron's head in a sort of ragamuffin fashion*
