Well yes, I suppoooose it might not be such an impossible task as I made out...
Doctor Who... Page 385
Having just watched some YouTube videos I'd forgotten how posh PD is.

Apart from having a butler in the Tardis, I can't say I ever noticed.
I see the Trailer for the next series has a bit more in it now.

You see, I don't know if that is true or not.

It does?
Have only seen the one which aired on BBC One after the New Year's day episode (where Doc 11 fires a gun etc)

The one on the Who website looks the same to me.

That's mine done, pitch and sample scene.
Cheers Matt. Makes things much easier.
I still love watching the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnPUF8an-XE&feature=related
By the way, I think the gun is a flare gun.
I'm assuming that, if you're writing as the Fifth Doctor, the script has got to be in the style of that early 80's era...
... i.e. bad sound effects (lol), doddering about, jolly posh bumbling, and none of this modern "emotional stuff."
What I mean is, surely it shouldn't be written RTD/Tennant style for PD?
Incidently, I've just this minute finished my script.
I know they initially just want the 2 page sample, but I figured I'd write it fully first before writing the synopsis as I weren't really sure which direction I was going to take it.
How about the Dr turns up in All Creatures Great and Small.
He has to pull a time diamond from a cow's anus without bumping into James Herriot?

He could then pull Anne Diamond from a cow's anus, Eammon Holmes.
Would that be a case of a Diamond in the rough?

You script stealing bugger!!!!
Just sent off my outline and script sample. Just wanted to wish everyone the best of luck.
I have a feeling that this is going to be a mega nerd fest, with thousands of entries being poured into Big Finish like a deluge of sexual frustration, underarm sweat and earwax.
After giving it some consideration, I moved my script away from the RTD style (FX: 23 PAGES OF RUNNING / 2 PAGES OF DOCTOR CRYING) and made mine plot based instead.
If anyone get's through, let us know so we can beat you up for being a geek. If I get through, I'll beat myself. (fnarr, fnarr)
I'm stuck on mine...
I've got my pitch idea, just have to write the sample page.
