I'll stand in line to take a number ...

The cheese stands alone.
Quote: scratchyr @ January 4 2010, 12:37 PM GMT...Met a really nice girl just mid december. Had a cheeky kiss but agreed not to do the number swap and catch up after new year down our local. Bumped into her friend who passed on my number, the lady in question got in touch I was very happy. I ask her out for a drink but then she says she met someone over Christmas and is sort of seeing them. She asks if she can text me if things change. What do I do? I'm pathetic I know
I saw her out and about last and the guy in question used to go out with my friend's cousin. He is a bit of a winkle and she was really stuck up. That was close shave I think, I can't believe I wasted neurons thinking about it. Life is good, although I feel crappy with this headache and four hours sleep.

We waste a f**k load of time thinking about the opposite sex.
Sad day here in New York. Connor's beloved fish Leroy (he was a 10 1/2" long Oscar) passed away overnight. He had him trained so that he could pet him and play with a ping-pong ball. He kept him going for 4+ years.
My fish died when my cat managed to get it out of the tank. He didn't eat it though; I think he was put off when it flopped around the floor, unable to breathe. (I should state that we were out at the time, not watching with amusement.)
We're all pretty sad about it. He was a real survivor. He's way too big to flush, so we are going to have a small burial ceremony at their granddad's near the swingset.

It's hard to train a fish, well done!
