Congrats and good luck to those who are through to phase II. Nice to see a few BCGers there.

I'd rather be the evil bastard if its all the same to you.

Ah, we're not falling into THAT trap...

Congrats - I think you are one of the Chosen, yes?

Yeah, Outgoings is mine. Thanks!

Well, good luck to you. Good luck to all of you.

It's hard to sound sincere, but I am.

I see The Box. That was a shoo-in. What was the other one?

Me too, really. (Where's that damn sarcasm punctuation mark gone?)

Thanks, all. Appreciated.

Going to bed now. This was a good day. I even made enchiladas!

Should Know Better

Oh, that was the magazine one. That was funny. I didn't get a copy of the script to read, so I didn't recognise the title. It was definitely the one that I liked the most at the workshop.

To be honest, I'm pretty much regretting going to the workshop now. I'll be forever wondering whether it was only the script that was flawed or whether the workshop reading influenced the decision.

We read all scripts several times before the workshop, so by the time we see them on their feet we've already got strong opinions about them, so I wouldn't regret going.

Cheers. Fifth-time lucky...

That's encouraging! Are you writing for any specific part of Newsjack?

Me too (sorry Russ!)

Je ne regret rien, except my spelling of French words and phrases. I'd recommend the workshops - I'm sure I submitted a better episode as a result of attending than I would have done without it. I'm taking heart from Dan's fifth-time-lucky vibe.

No need to apologise, you're entitled to your opinion!
Russ

I knew it was you with that user name! Dead giveaway. Congrats, and good luck - you shouldn't have too much trouble submitting a second episode (and a third, and a fourth, and a fifth...)

Congratulations Natalie and Russ, and all who got through. Gutted I didn't get through but knew the standard was high. Don't regret the workshop for a second, learnt loads AND got 2 brilliant new friends out of it. Off to bed to sulk with potato triangles AND red wine.

Cheers guv.
Just glad the agony of waiting is out the way.
Next stage of agony commences!
