Sitcom (Com)Mission Page 50

I've been following this thread for months and never posted. I thought I would post something now since I just congratulated all the successful writers then called them bastards! I apologise. I'd love to be able to come to a show or two but I live in Glasgow and I'm skint!

Good luck to all who got through. I'm sure your work deserves the merit... I thought my script deserved the merit but Its... fine. I'm fine!

Sitcom Saturday better not turn me down or I'll murder myself. At least I'll have the feedback to build upon.

Oh and by the way. Anyone got anything into Newsjack yet?

Xxx

I'll just go and top myself

up with a few bevvies

Yeah. I'm having quite a good day writing-wise...

Chink-chink. Cheers.

(Feel a bit sick, though)

Can those of us who didn't get a rejection email but didn't make the list consider ourselves as having come 33rd?

I'd hazard a guess that Silan stopped sending out rejection emails when they started getting replies.

We don't even get to find out why we were rejected.

Shall I make yours a double?

I guess it's something to do with them thinking there were at least 32 better.

I must confess I was also unclear on the written feedback "gold" entry... though as our workshop is represented by two people we can claim some sort of victory, particularly as our feedback on the day was part of the overall "gold" feedback package ;)

I'll have a double puppy please. What's yours?

Silan sounds awfully like that evil bastard from Heroes.

I wish I were you and you were me! God speed Dan.

I was going for a Jedward vibe.

I see The Box. That was a shoo-in. What was the other one?

I'd rather be the evil bastard if its all the same to you.

Congrats - I think you are one of the Chosen, yes?

Quote: Declan @ January 21 2010, 11:15 PM GMT

We've now made 32 friends and 468 enemies.

No way! I had a great time with this comp, and well done to all who worked so hard to bring it home.

I didn't get there but congrats to those who did. Liebfraumilch! mijn petit tulips.
