...? :S

There's a shot in one of the offices that resembles The Max from Saved By The Bell. All neon and shiny.

The set tends to "set" the mood for a piece. This show's which I find slightly cold and unnatural doesn't help me warm to it any more.

If it's on TV, I want the whole production to be considered. Even though it has, I didn't like their take.

Better than episode one - I smiled twice at least. Still a bit crap though.

This really isn't that bad - it is uneven but there are lots of funny ideas. Something just doesn't quite gel though.

Plus the sets, so 80s, it was making me cringe.

Oh, the sets are awful!

I hate Iain Lee's office with the jigsaw cut-out walls, and the meeting room with the white net curtains and TV's hanging from the trees. Arrrgh!

They've obviously tried really hard to make it look 'Ad Agency Cool', but it just looks more like Tracey Emin hosting Amy Winehouse's hen night.

Buxton's supposed to be more of a pathetic idiot, isn't he? And Lee the more normal character.

You talk as if "pathetic idiot" and "normal" are mutually exclusive.

2nd episode was much of an improvement.

I've seen meeting rooms exactly like that.

I've never been more happy to work in IT!

Those surroundings would drive me crazy!!!!!!!!

Errr

Episode 2 was much better than the opener. I quite enjoyed it. It actually worked as a sitcom episode quite well, which I didn't think episode 1 did.

(Just remembered last week's 'Australian' comments about the Sydney Opera House. That was the highlight actually!)

It's solid, like a Toblerone!

I think so too.

"Opera! In Australia! Really!?"

:D

I actually think the best bit in episode 2 was the conversation Adam Buxton had with the fellow "ugly" in the boiler room, about The Wire.

That was good. Kind of narrow in its target there though. I mean, I got the joke even though I've never seen the show, but I bet it passed a lot of people by.

I haven't watched The Wire either, but you only need a vague awareness of the show to find that bit funny, I think. It's not really a piece of reference humour.
