Nothing is going in my mouth and I'm not allowed vigorous activity.
Hopefully I'll get a fiver for Mr Upperback Left.

One of the cats has gone out and f**ked off somewhere. He'll have a night out if he doesn't quit arsing about and come back soon.

I wish those sweet, elderly old widows down our street talked about their pets in this style of verbiage.

Robyn has a very fun sounding day today. A lecture on "Classical and Biblical Contexts of Literature", a lecture on "Renaissance Literature", and a seminar for the latter too. And Beowulf and Hamlet to read in between. Yay.

He had the night out. And had the cheek to give me a black look this morning when he came in, like it was my fault.
Cats do that. 'Our' cat does that when she rips the carpet and we tell her off, like everything in the house is hers to do with as she pleases.

Yes, they're right divas at times.
How many cats do you have Chip?

Four. Three are inside all the time. The fourth is an inny-outy. He started life as a stray and is way to restless to keep in all the time. So he gets to come and go as he pleases. Which is a pain, since you're always worried about him getting hit by cars etc.
We have one, a little half ragtail / persian cross she comes and goes as she pleases. She never strays far I think, I've only ever seen on the other side of the road once.
She likes teasing our dog, a right wind up merchant.

Awwww are they all the same age? Do they all get on?
I miss having a cat.

Why do you keep them in?
My dog chased a cat away who was bullying my kitten this morning. In return the cat knocks food off the kitchen worktop for the dog. They've become quite a gang.

Three are knocking on, in their early teens. The other's about three. And no,they don't get on, they're all Toms (albeit neutured) and f**king hate each other!
Quote: Dolly Dagger @ January 21 2010, 10:45 AM GMTWhy do you keep them in?
Because I've had cats before killed on the road outside. It's not nice. And I've a big house so they're not short of space.
Ha - why have three Toms then?

My cat used to ride on my doggy's back.

Most cats are. They're the Morrace's of the animal world. Except with redeeming features.

They were all strays at some point.
