Application for job

My school have teamed up with Rock FM to start our own radio station. I have applied for the job of a creative writer. Job description here http://www.rockfm.co.uk/Article.asp?id=1361939&spid=33279 (scroll down to the bottom)
I sent in my application form and in the 'what qualities do you hold that would make you suitable for this job' I put :

"I think I would be suitable for this role because I see myelf as a creative person. My English skills are good, and I have a lively imagination, which would enable me to write interesting adverts that will please the client and entertain the listener
Is have excellent communication skills, and can
come up with alot of new and exciting ideas. I am able to think outside the box, Which would benefit for writing interesting adverts."

How much chance do you think I have with this, to get the job. there are about 70 people applying...

Oh and by the way, this Is my first EVER thread that I have started :D

on.My English skills are good,and

Hmm.

If I was trying to convince someone I could come up with new and exciting ideas I certainly wouldn't use the phrase "outside the box". Also, I would agree with Mr Murphy that there's a lot of spaces missing and odd punctuation. Although I understand that you didn't copy and paste this from your submitted document. Did you? If you've already sent it in then it's also a bit late for feedback.

Good luck though, hope you get it. :)

There's a couple of punctuation mistakes, but you sound enthusiastic, and probably use better English than most of the applicants, so hopefully you'll do okay. Let us know!

Oh shoit, I have sent it in :S
I did copy and paste it, so that explains the odd layout...
thanks for the feedback though...

Good thread, good luck!

Wouldn't worry too much. You still come across well.

I mean as a person, if not a space bar operator.

Okay, consider this constructive criticism.

That's at least 8 basic mistakes in about 70 words.

You want to conider that one of the applications was "It's inteirastng."
They spelt interesting wrong...
And I am a school student, so they won't be expecting it to be perfect...

I agree with you, Marc, but please don't make us have to come up with excuses for being here!
