My mate Jules is a big fan. Time I checked this count out me thinks.
Count Arthur Strong Page 2
So, anyone know if he once did a stand up routine based on a Partridge in a Pear Tree?
I'm sure I saw it on TV but can't find it anywhere on YouTube.
Count Arthur Strong is quite simply the greatest comedy monster of his generation. Nuff said.
What generation is that? How old is he? Mid to late sixties? Or older?
I think Steve Delaney is under 40ish?
But the character's considerably older. Like with Coogan and Partridge.

Well I never. Compliments to the wardrobe and make up for his live shows.
Count Arthur's mad banter is relentless and just as funny as it is barmy.
The last episode of the most recent CAS Radio Show contained perhaps the greatest moment yet heard - Namely Arthur's musical, where he spoke with an American accent, before singing "Donacster!". Listened to it on iPlayer seven times. Just brill.
I heard that Stuart Maconie produces the show. Has he been involved with any other comedy?
If only there was a website to tell you that you heard wrong...

Disclaimer: I've no idea who Stuart Maconie is. Maybe he is in some way involved with one of the show's production companies.

Stuart Maconie is a former NME journo and radio presenter/DJ, but as far as I know he's not associated with Count Arthur Strong, however his radio 2 partner, Mark Radcliffe is, he's the producer of the show.
Has Radcliffe been involved with any other comedy shows?
