Celebs you've met that are smug b*stards Page 2

Yes although it is categorically true I am slightly worried that I have now shared this in the public domain, particuarly since I have a nagging feeling this may have been the immoral actions of Old Craig.

When I was at school, one of the "bad taste" jokes doing the rounds in the playground one year was:

Q - What did the mongoloid say to his dog?
A - Down, Syndrome.

And if a celebrity (or any Joe Average for that matter) is bothered by a stranger, surely that celebrity (or Joe Average) has the right to tell the stranger to piss off.

You shouldn't do it.

That John Henshaw sounds a nice guy. Wasn't he in an Christmas special of The Royle Family .

That's right.

Jim Davidson- I met him at the stage door of the Edinburgh Playhouse. There was a disabled man in a wheelchair waiting to meet him also. The man asked for an autograph and was told, in no uncertain terms, ''F**k Off''.

What's the person being in a wheelchair got to do with it? Are we meant to give them special treatment now?

Michelle McManus- Well, didn't meet as such. Saw her in a supermarket. Queing up to buy something and because the queue ( mostly elderly people ) took its time getting slower, she simply put the item back and stormed off in a huff.

You've never been annoyed that a queue is long, and decided not to buy something after all? From your description it neither sounds unreasonable, nor does it match any definition of 'smug' that I'm aware of.

You're right Aaron, he should have let his tires down.

That's a bit sick, is it not?

Ester Rantzen. Was unbelievably more hateful and vile in the flesh than on TV. Like a less charming version of Thatcher.

I have been in the situation where a queue is long and yes, it is annoying but due to always being in the queue with a large trolley full of items. I just stay calm and wait until it dies down.

Okay, maybe it did'nt mean Michelle was smug. I realise now that I was being unfair on that score but she didn't have to go huffing just because some old granny in front couldn't get her purse out quick enough! Happens everyday in life, just gotta go with the flo.

In 2005 met Craig Charles of the popular sitcom Red Dwarf and was not only miffed that he criticised my jacket but particularly irked when he made a jibe about a downs syndrome neice of mine who I had asked him to sign an autograph for.

I hope the rehabilitation centre he went to has sorted him out as he certainly was not the pleasantest of people to be around.

You should have asked him how his Brief managed to get him off the rape charge.

Just a joke.

Laughing out loud

According to the report the person in the wheelchair was given the special treatment of being told to "f**k off".

Maybe she had to take her paraplegic Downs Syndrome-suffering brother to the doctor and couldn't afford to wait for the one single item she wanted to buy? ;)

The biggest celebrity asshole I've ever met in person was Steve Bing. He's the guy who knocked up Liz Hurley (and denied it) and funds all sorts of lefty nonsense in the States.

Al Gore seemed like a prick, too.
