Written quite a fair few sketches, they are all still in note form. Finally managed to scrape pennies together to purchase a laptop. Now I can actually write the sketches in the correct format.
Just not sure what direction to take. Should I try my luck and submit some skecthes to the BBC or try producing them myself and uploading them?
Could do with some advice please?
Not sure where to start

Well dig in this site and you'll find loads of places to send them.
At the moment the BBC has an open talent show called Newsjack.
But I'd reccomend showing them to friends or maybe the critique thread.
See how they go down before they go out.
Hello Phillip.
Most places aren't looking for unsolicited sketches, so probably the best thing to do is what most of the writers here are doing - try writing for the open door radio sketch shows and/or filming them yourself and putting them on the internet and/or sending them in to some of the live shows that sometimes ask for submissions on sites like this. There's also the odd competition that comes along looking for sketches.
Good luck.
Yeah I usually check the BBC writers room in the "opportunities" section to see if there is anything.
Whenever I have a new sketch I usually put it past them first, but I can usually tell if its going to be good or bad.
Why not show us your writings?
My friend is a film buff and has done an A-level media course and has offered to help me film the sketches I'm just unsure at the moment.
Like I said, the sketches are still in note form. I will just tell you the basic formula of a few.
erm. They are quite strange.
A bunch of scarecrows stealing crops from a human-sized-crow in farmer attire.
A man working in a night-club-toilet providing hand-wash and perfumes. The man has obsessive compulsive disorder, the hygiene type ( obsessed with washing hands )
can't stand seeing customers leaving toilet without washing their hands.

Sounds good.
I've got a great one of a man who works in a nightclub bathroom and he keeps his spunk in the handwash bottle..
'Handjob wash sir?'
Actually...that's it. Just there, above.
Most of the sketches would be diffuclt to film as I want them to look good. I don't want them to look home-made.
In one sketch I require sheep, I don't think there is any local farms that would agree to me lending their sheep.

Well the advice is find another hobby then.
