Robyn is wondering why everything in English Literature ends up about sex. Unimpressed

EVERYTHING boils down to sex!

Well if you listen to Freud it does.

Chipolata concurs.

Freud is ridiculous though. Like, really ridiculous imho. My favourite so far has got to be the classic Oedipus complex. I was reading about him saying Medusa was the embodiment of castration complex, and that was pretty good too.

Why is everyone far more intelligent than me? :(

Oh! And I like "We all want to kill each other deep down".

Hug That's not clever, BF, that's just pretentious and the product of English degrees!

Replace everyone with Scatters I would agree.

Scatters is just insanely intelligent. :)

Plus, it helps what you've studied.

Angry I need a devil emoticon!

Right, off to catch a train.

And then that train under the ground thing - oh it's nasty.

Wave if you go past Fulham! I won't see, or know, but it will be fun!

I only agree with that part.

My friend waved when he went through my station on his way to uni. He said that I might have seen him seeing as my room backs onto the tracks. :P

Oooh cool. Do you hear the trains anymore? Or do they blur into the background?

It depends. If a freight train goes through at 3 a.m. then I most certainly hear it. We sometimes go whole mornings and then said "I've not heard any trains..." only for one to go by and us hear it because we're aware of it.

It's weird the way that happens. I don't hear my clock, yet boyfriend thinks it's really loud.
