Odd Box

Hosed from between the cracks of reality comes Odd Box, a new audio series created by David Bussell, Ben Ricketts & Matthew Stott.

That was all right. The first sketch made me laugh, put me in mind of Blue Jam a little. Good production values too.

I look forward to more.

Thanks for the support, Kevin!

That was all right.

Can we use that as our pull quote, Kevin?

No.

But you can use this.

Good production values.

The acting and production values were top notch.

I didn't like the first sketch, I thought the ending was unexpected but not very funny, especially after such a long build up. The second two sketches were much better, Matt's acting in the second sketch really made it. The third sketch was my favourite, very funny and original idea.

Little lines squeezed in like 'Chris come on you great mong!' made me laugh too.

It's a great idea to do a Podcast like this, how many do you have recorded or planning to do?

I have no idea how many we have, but we've recorded, and still are recording, a whole bunch of sketches, so there's quite a few more little batches to come I think. We started doing it more as a way of rehearsing and practicing for some filmed stuff we have coming up, but then thought it made sense to stick some of the sketches out there for whoever might want to listen.

Cheers for the nice words Mr Pie.

I finally got around to listening to this. Good acting and production, the jokes were OK too, certainly radio quality, but then again, I'm not the biggest fan of radio comedy, so as far as that goes, this sounded good.

Err, yeah! :)

Any chance of making the RSS link work properly? So I can download without having to think about it. It's not working with Juice...

:(

EDIT: Sorry -- it's work's network connection. Nothing to see here...

I've not had the chance to make episode 2 available on podcast yet but will do later.

Cool. Ta. Will listen imminently (ie when I remember to bring the cable in...)

Dan

Very nice.

Just caught the second two episodes. Pretty good stuff. The zombie/shopping channel sketch was inspired.

Cheers, folks. Another of these on the way soon.
