Who do you take TV recommendations from?

In terms of famous people??

I read an interview where Ricky Gervais said Dexter was "amazing" so I watched it and thought the same.

Don't really seek out others opinions. Although have been inspired to watch something after Charlie Brooker recommends it.

I have checked things out in the past on Gervais's recommendation too!

But only because he has the same taste as me in many things consistently, not because I like him.

No one. More often than not they seem to have an agenda to pursue - buttering up a producer, featuring a close friend, etc. I'm perfectly capable of reading a synopsis myself thanks.

Even that could be affected by the agenda of the writer. (Less likely though perhaps!)

its very difficult to know who to trust in these dark commercial times...well if you're pushed I'd say you could do worse than trust me. Beyond the Pole is great. It's coming out on 12th Feb at the ICA and its picking up amazing reviews and stars Stephen Mangan and Rhys Thomas. www.beyondthepole.com

Trust me!

Your lack of apostrophes makes me wary.

hey it's late - it's not bad!

Alright, only asked.

Synopsis could sound great but it doesn't mean the production took it anywhere.
I don't think I've ever taken a celebrity's advice on seeing a television show. I've taken their advise in seeing a classic movie or song but not television. Don't know why I just don't think I ever have.

I do take the word of a many people on here. I will even watch a show if its recommended by someone on here that I usually don't agree with on TV. Again I don't know why I do it I just do :)

I take TV recommendations from this little site called www.comedy.co.uk

Seem to be pretty spot on.

That's right Ellie, I get all of my comedy recommendations and more from www.comedy.co.uk because they're awesome and know what they're talking about.
